White Lake and the northern reaches of the Wolf River anchor this 2011 survey of eastern Langlade County. The village of White Lake sits at the southeastern corner, where White Lake Creek and a dense network of local roads like Bissell St and Mill St cluster around the waterfront. To the north, the terrain rises toward Ninemile Hill, overlooking the winding Ninemile Creek and the remote Sawyer Lake area.

Rural history is preserved through the locations of the Saint James Cemetery near Four Corners and the Brown Cemetery further north. The landscape is defined by its complex hydrology, featuring numerous natural springs such as Stillhouse Springs and Galyan Springs, alongside several smaller water bodies like Dark Lake, West Lake, and Porkey Lake. The Evergreen River and Evergreen Creek traverse the western portion of the map, illustrating the interconnected wetlands and timberland of northern Wisconsin.
