Whitewater serves as the focal point for this study of southeastern Wisconsin, sitting at the junction of Jefferson and Walworth counties. The landscape is defined by its glacial history, with the Kettle Moraine Dr winding through the complex terrain of the south. This area is heavily water-featured, including Whitewater Lake, Rice Lake, and the connected Cravath Lake and Tripp Lake which border the town center.
