Absaroka Range peaks and high mountain drainages define this wilderness landscape in Wyoming’s Park County, where the high-altitude headwaters of the N Fork Yellowstone River gather. The terrain is characterized by steep glacial cirques and prominent massifs, most notably Yellow Mtn, situated along the shared boundary of the Shoshone National Forest and Teton National Forest.
