Silver Mountain Mine anchors the northern high ground of this Okanogan County landscape, sitting just below the summit of Silver Mountain. The terrain is defined by a series of north-south drainages and ridges, where Lemanasky Mountain and the Aeneas Lookout tower over a network of high-elevation lakes and rural road systems. The small settlement of Flatiron serves as a central point for local travel along Flat Iron Rd and Murphy Cutoff.
