The high ridges of Colville National Forest dominate this landscape along the border of Stevens and Pend Oreille counties. Prominent peaks such as Aladdin Mtn, Seldom Seen Mtn, and Thomas Mtn define the local topography, creating a watershed for numerous drainages including Rocky Creek and Lost Cr. The terrain is characterized by a mix of high-altitude meadows and alpine water bodies, most notably Big Meadow Lake and Lake Thomas.
