Albuquerque and the neighboring community of Alameda are presented here in a period of intense suburban integration along the Rio Grande. The landscape is defined by the juxtaposition of traditional riparian infrastructure, such as the Corrales Main Canal and Sandoval Lateral, against the modern expansion of the Pan American Fwy NE. This map is particularly valuable for genealogical research, identifying numerous burial sites including Sandoval Cemetery, San Ysidro Cemetery, and the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
