Aldermand Ridge and Norwegian Ridge define the rugged topography of this Latah County landscape as it appeared in 2011. The area is characterized by a dense network of mountain drainages, including the headwaters of Three Bear Creek, Long Meadow Creek, and the various forks of Dicks Creek. These waters eventually feed into the expansive Dworshak Reservoir visible in the southeast corner.
