Kaiser Peak and the high elevations of Mt Annie define the southwestern corner of this West Texas landscape, where the high desert meets the Davis Mountains. The terrain is a complex network of seasonal drainages including Madera Canyon, Wildcat Draw, and Cherry Cr, which carve through the prominent Red Hills and Cole Hills. These watercourses dictate the historical placement of essential infrastructure in an arid climate, such as Eagle Tank.
