Antler sits at the northern edge of Bottineau County, positioned directly along the international boundary with the United States of America. This northern prairie landscape is defined by its rigid section-line road grid, including 109th St NW and 30th Ave NW, which carve the terrain into predictable agricultural blocks. The natural drainage of Hulse Coulee meanders through the northwest, breaking the geometry of the fields. Within the town of Antler, a localized street network featuring Vida St, Main St, and Gertrude St indicates the historical center of this border community. To the north, the Antler Cem serves as a significant genealogical landmark, overlooking the surrounding plains and the nearby Canadian border.
