Hole In The Rock Rd serves as the primary artery through this high-desert landscape in Kane County, Utah. The road follows the historical corridor across the Kaiparowits Plateau, traversing between the prominent Straight Cliffs and the drainage of Big Hollow Wash. To the west, the massive wall of Fiftymile Mountain and its corresponding Fiftymile Bench define the elevation changes, dropping into West End Canyon and Monday Canyon.

Deeply incised drainage systems like Peek-a-boo Canyon, Spooky Gulch, and Brimstone Gulch feed into the Dry Fork Coyote Gulch, illustrating the complex erosional patterns typical of the region. A portion of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is visible in the eastern section of the map, where the terrain breaks toward Hurricane Wash.
