Agate and the southern outskirts of Bisbee define the northern limits of this landscape, where the prairie is organized by a precise grid of rural roads. This 2024 survey documents the convergence of Rolette, Towner, and Pierce counties, highlighting a remote agricultural area characterized by scattered wetlands and small ponds. Local family and community history is preserved in small rural burial grounds, including Teubner Cem near the center of the quadrangle and Halling Cem further south. The map provides a current perspective on the road network, from 54th Ave NE to 59th Ave NE, which connects isolated farmsteads across the township lines of t159n r68w and t158n r68w. At the southern edge, Zion Cem stands as another landmark of the early settlement patterns that continue to shape this portion of North Dakota.
