The Washita River carves a winding path through the southern half of this McClain County landscape, defining the rural geography around the small community of Bradley. This area is characterized by an extensive system of flood control reservoirs and a persistent oil and gas industry, notably the Northwest Bradley Oil Field which spans the southwestern section. The local drainage network is complex, with Laflin Cr, Colbert Cr, and Roaring Cr feeding into the main river valley. Cultural and family history is anchored by the Laflin Cem situated near the creek of the same name. Numerous watershed projects are visible, including Winter Creek Site 15 Reservoir and Colbert Creek Site 3 Reservoir, which manage the runoff across this agricultural and industrial terrain.
