The tiny settlement of Brisbane is the focal point of this Grant County landscape, situated amidst the high plains of North Dakota. In 2020, the area remains characterized by its vast agricultural grid, where section lines are defined by a network of local roads such as 74th St SW and 50th Ave SW. A primary landmark for local history is the Holy Infant Cem, located just east of the main settlement. The topography is dominated by the Antelope Hills, which rise above the surrounding prairie, while the seasonal drainage of Sixmile Cr meanders through the eastern portion of the quadrangle. The map reflects a deeply rural environment where the Public Land Survey System continues to dictate the spatial organization of the modern landscape.
