Broaddus serves as the primary hub in this East Texas landscape, situated at the junction of Hwy 83 and Garland St. The town is surrounded by the sprawling Angelina National Forest, which covers a significant portion of the terrain east of the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The reservoir’s irregular shoreline defines the western half of the map, creating numerous inlets fed by local drainages like Sandy Cr and Prairie Cr.
