About this map

Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument anchors the southern portion of this landscape, where distinctive geological formations rise near Peralta Canyon. The topography is defined by deeply cut drainages such as Cochiti Canyon and Bland Canyon, which separate high plateaus like Cochiti Mesa and Bland Mesa. This 2002 update of 1951 photogrammetry shows a transition in land use, from the northern Dome Wilderness and Santa Fe National Forest to the administrative boundaries of the Jemez Indian Reservation and Pueblo de Cochiti Indian Reservation.
