Colville Indian Reservation land dominates this high-altitude landscape in the late twentieth century, characterized by its complex network of drainage basins and mountain ridges. The terrain is defined by the Broken Mountains and Central Peak, with numerous waterways such as North Nanamkin Creek and South Nanamkin Creek cutting through the slopes. Evidence of geologic exploration is present near the northern border, where a Prospect site is noted among the peaks.
