Flathead National Forest encompasses this high-elevation wilderness within the Swan Range, where the landscape is defined by steep glacial cirques and a dense network of mountain streams. High peaks such as Kah Mtn and Spring Slide Mtn tower over a series of remote alpine waters, including Trinkus Lake, Bond Lake, and the small Crevice Lake tucked near the southern boundary.
