Jerry Glacier and the high summit of Crater Mountain dominate this part of the North Cascades, where steep drainages and glacial ice define the physical landscape. Located within the Ross Lake NRA, the terrain is marked by dramatic elevation changes from the depths of Rowleys Chasm to the heights of Gabriel Peak. The map shows a clear division of the watershed as numerous creeks like Crater Creek and Panther Creek flow toward the Ruby Arm of Ross Lake.
