1970 Map of Crossman Peak

USGS Topo · Published 1983

About this map

The Mohave Mountains define this high-desert landscape, dominated by the prominent summit of Crossman Peak. In the late 1960s, the area remained a network of mining claims and remote water sources connected by a complex system of jeep trails. Relics of the region's mineral prospects are scattered throughout the drainages, including the Sunlite Mine, Jupiter Mine, and Pittsburg Mine, alongside numerous unnamed prospects.
