Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery anchors the southern half of this modern topographical study, situated at the terminus of Jones Hole Rd near the border of Uintah and Daggett counties. The landscape is defined by an intricate network of drainage features and water management, including the Calder Ditch which feeds into the Zelph Calder Reservoir and Crouse Reservoir. These systems reflect the ongoing importance of water rights and ranching infrastructure in the High Uintas region.
