The Ferguson Desert and the southern reaches of the Burbank Hills define this arid landscape in western Millard County. The terrain is characterized by a series of north-south drainage patterns, including Cedar Pass Wash and North Juniper Wash, which collect into the Cedar Pass Reservoir. To the southeast, the elevation rises toward Deadman Point, a prominent overlook situated near the Deadman Reservoir and the headwaters of Deadman Wash.
