The town of Delmar straddles the state line in the early 1990s, serving as a hub where the Delaware Maryland railroad line bisects a landscape of low-lying wetlands and agricultural tracts. To the north, Little Acres and St George occupy the level ground near Meadow Branch, while the southern reaches transition into the growing suburbs of Salisbury, including Hyde Park and Spring Hill Acres.
