At the heart of the sheet, the narrow Devils Causeway ridge connects these massive volcanic plateaus.

A network of pack trails serves as the primary infrastructure through the White River National Forest and Routt National Forest, linking remote water bodies like Deep Lake, Skinny Fish Lake, and McGinnis Lake.
