Pecan Bayou and its winding tributaries, including White Oak Bayou and Campground Bayou, define the landscape of this Red River County region. Small rural clusters and family landmarks are scattered throughout, most notably around the settlement of Dimple. The southern edge of the survey reaches into the outskirts of Clarksville, where the terrain transitions from open bayou bottomlands to more developed areas near the Country Club.
