The Hogup Mountains dominate this western edge of the Great Salt Lake, where the desert meets the brine. This 2014 survey captures a landscape defined by isolation and seasonal livestock operations, notably marked by Youngs Corral near the northern boundary. The terrain transitions from the steep ridges of the mountains down through Big Wash toward the waters of Clyman Bay.
