About this map

The Continental Divide winds through this high-altitude landscape, separating the headwaters of several major drainages in the mid-1950s. To the north, the Teton National Forest encompasses the South Fork Buffalo Fork and a cluster of alpine waters including Angle Lakes, Mackinaw Lake, and Golden Lake. The southern half of the map transition into the Shoshone National Forest, dominated by the namesake Dundee Meadows and the massive Pinnacle Buttes.
