The Emigrant Trl cuts across this high-desert landscape in southwestern Wyoming, marking a historic corridor of western movement through what is now the border region of Lincoln and Uinta Counties. The terrain is defined by a series of drainages, including Little Muddy Cr, Ryckman Cr, and Bell Cr, which carve through the undulating topography. In the southeastern portion of the map, the relatively level expanse of Cumberland Flats provides a contrast to the surrounding ridges. While modern industrial use is suggested by the presence of a Haul Rd, the primary character of the area remains rural and shaped by its historical role as a transit path. This survey documents the intersection of legacy trails and contemporary land management within the public land survey system, specifically across Townships 18 and 19 North.
