In the early 1980s, the landscape around the community of Enterprise and the Wehesville (Site) shows a clear transition from resource extraction to irrigation and recreation. An extensive water management system, including an Aqueduct, a series of siphons, and a Gaging Station, draws from Spectacle Lake to support the surrounding agricultural flats.
