Fanny Hill rises as a prominent landmark in this section of Phillips County, overlooking the winding path of the Milk River as it enters the southeastern corner of the quadrangle. The landscape is defined by an intricate drainage system, where Little Cottonwood Cr and Cottonwood Cr carve through the terrain, joined by the shorter reach of Garland Cr. These waterways create a series of coulees and breaks, including Austin Coulee, which shape the local topography and historical movement through the region.
