About this map

Sans Bois Mountains dominate the southern half of this landscape, where the county line between Pittsburg and Latimer Counties cuts through the high ridges. In the late 1960s, the northern portion of the quadrangle shows a concentrated energy landscape defined by the Quinton Gas Field. Numerous Gas Wells are scattered across the valley floor, linked by a significant Pipeline that runs parallel to the Railroad and Sans Bois Creek.
