Laughlin Hills and the high point at Foreman Point anchor this eastern portion of the Mount Hood National Forest in Wasco County. The terrain is defined by a series of significant drainage features and high meadows, including Sunflower Flat and the wide expanse of Beaver Creek Prairie. This landscape is particularly dense with named water sources such as Evick Spring, Daniel Spring, and Government Spring, which historically supported movement through these uplands.
