Bridger National Forest dominates this high-altitude landscape in Sublette County, where glacial activity has carved a complex drainage system fed by numerous alpine lakes. The southern portion of the sheet is defined by the deep waters of Fremont Lake and its northern Moosehead Bay, as well as the expansive Willow Lake. These basins are surrounded by dramatic landforms such as Pine Mtn and Big Flattop Mtn, which separate the primary watersheds of Lake Creek and Trapper Cr.
