Belgrade and the smaller settlement of Georgeville anchor this agricultural landscape at the border of Stearns and Kandiyohi counties. The terrain is defined by the winding paths of the N Fork Crow River and the Middle Fork Crow River, as well as an extensive network of drainage infrastructure including County Ditch Number B-Five, County Ditch Number B-Six, and County Ditch Number B-Seven. These engineered waterways suggest a history of reclaiming prairie wetlands for high-yield farming.
