Glacier Colony sits on the western edge of this High Plains landscape, situated along the border of Glacier and Toole Counties. The region is defined by a series of significant drainage features and coulees, including Old Maids Coulee, Sand Coulee, and Snake Coulee, which carve through the prairie towards the southern reaches of the map. Several lakes dot the northern and central terrain, most notably Grassy Lake, Hay Lake, and Long Lake, providing essential water sources in this otherwise dry agricultural expanse.
