Grapevine and its surrounding communities sit at a major Texas crossroads where the boundaries of Tarrant, Dallas, and Denton counties converge. This 2019 survey illustrates the dense suburban and industrial expansion surrounding the northern reaches of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, which dominates the southeastern quadrant of the map. To the north, the waters of Grapevine Lake are fed by numerous small tributaries including Denton Cr and Bakers Br, creating a distinct edge to the urban development of Flower Mound and Southlake.
