The high peaks of the Absaroka Range dominate this 2018 study of the Wyoming wilderness. Centered within the Shoshone National Forest, the landscape is defined by the headwaters of the S Fork Shoshone River and its numerous tributaries, including Younts Cr and Robinson Cr. The area is characterized by significant topographic relief, rising to named summits such as Hardluck Mtn and Ash Mtn.
