Hurricane Gulch and the surrounding high-altitude terrain dominate this modern survey of the Alaska interior. The landscape is defined by a dense network of alpine drainage systems, including the headwaters of Honolulu Cr and the nearby Little Honolulu Cr, which flow through deep-cut valleys. The Parks Highway provides the primary corridor for movement through this wilderness, traversing the western portion of the quadrangle as it parallels the E Fork Chulitna River.
