The village of Ipava and the smaller settlement of Summum anchor this portion of southern Fulton County, where the agricultural uplands are deeply incised by the drainage basins of Otter Cr and its various branches. The landscape is defined by a dense concentration of small burial grounds that speak to the long-standing family lineages of the region, including the Old Ipava Cem and the Quaker Cem.
