Jeffrey Reservoir dominates this central Nebraska landscape, its irregular shoreline reaching into the deeply eroded drainages of the loess hills. Fed by the Tri-County Supply Canal, the reservoir is a critical component of the regional irrigation and power infrastructure. The surrounding terrain is characterized by a dense network of canyons, most notably Snell Canyon and Conroy Canyon, which illustrate the complex geomorphology of Lincoln County.
