Wheeler Municipal Airport sits at the center of this Texas Panhandle landscape, where the high plains begin to break into the drainage systems of the eastern Wheeler County ranchlands. The terrain is defined by several seasonal watercourses including Sweetwater Cr, which meanders across the northern portion of the sheet, and the smaller tributaries of Silver Cr and Goodin Cr. The southern drainage is captured by the headwaters of E Br Bronco Cr.
