The South Fork Flambeau River carves a winding path through this northern Wisconsin landscape, crossing the borders of Sawyer, Price, and Rusk Counties. This waterway is defined by a series of significant whitewater features, including Big Bull Rapids, Bornsheller Rapids, and Little Falls. The surrounding terrain is a dense network of wetlands and small tributaries, where Stony Brook and Price Cr feed the larger river system.
