About this map

The confluence of the Middle Concho River and South Concho River defines the landscape of the Knickerbocker quadrangle, primarily shaped by the massive Twin Buttes Reservoir. To the southwest, the small settlement of Knickerbocker serves as a focal point for local history and genealogy, containing both the Knickerbocker Community Cem and the Knickerbocker Catholic Cem. This area transition from the outskirts of San Angelo into more isolated ranching and water-management lands.
