Little Fish Lake and its surrounding valley floor define this high-desert portion of the Toiyabe National Forest. The landscape is a complex network of hydrologic features, where Fish Lake Valley Cr and Indian Garden Cr feed into the lake basin. A distinct concentration of water sources appears to the south, including Upper Warm Spring, Pat Spring, and Cold Spring, which likely served as vital stops in this arid terrain.
