Livengood serves as the central settlement in this interior Alaskan landscape, situated along the Elliott Highway north of the winding Tolovana River. The terrain is defined by significant elevation changes, rising toward the prominent Amy Dome in the northern portion of the quadrangle. This 2017 survey documents the modern infrastructure of the region, most notably the path of the Alaska Pipeline as it traverses the southern reaches. A dense network of tributaries, including Steel Cr, Wilber Cr, and Slate Cr, feeds into the primary river system, illustrating the complex drainage patterns of the Yukon-Koyukuk region. The map reflects a landscape shaped by both natural watercourses and the industrial corridors essential to the state's resource economy.
