Mt Barcroft and the surrounding high-altitude terrain of the White-Inyo Range define this portion of the Inyo National Forest. The landscape is characterized by a series of high peaks and alpine meadows, including McAfee Meadow, Tres Plumas Meadow, and Campito Meadow. This 2018 survey detail shows a network of drainage systems such as McAfee Cr and Cottonwood Cr that carve through the mountain slopes.
