Mt Moriah dominates the high elevation landscape of the southern Snake Range within the Humboldt National Forest. This 2015 survey reveals a terrain defined by dramatic vertical relief, reaching a high point on the mountain and descending into numerous deep drainages such as Big Canyon and Deerhead Canyon. A distinctive high-altitude plateau known as The Table sits north of the peak, surrounded by the headwaters of Hendrys Cr and Negro Cr.
