Willapa Valley and the surrounding timberlands define this 2017 survey of Pacific County. The map is centered on the settlement of Pluvius, located along a winding valley floor beneath Pluvius Hill. The terrain is marked by numerous drainage systems, including Fern Cr, Patton Cr, and Falls Cr, which feed into the Willapa River. High elevation points such as Walville Peak, Squally Jim, and the expansive P and E Ridge dominate the northern half of the quadrangle, reflecting the deeply dissected landscape of the Coast Range. In the southwest, Elk Prairie provides a distinct change in topography near Willapa Falls. A network of logging and access roads, such as C Line Rd and Breen Rd, serves as the primary infrastructure through these remote ridges.
