Roy and its surrounding canyonlands are documented here across the Power County and Oneida County border. This high-altitude landscape is characterized by deep drainages such as Tussing Canyon, Trail Canyon, and Heydlauff Canyon, which cut through the terrain toward the Rockland Valley. The southern portion of the sheet is dominated by the Curlew National Grassland, a significant public land tract that encompasses landmarks like Roy Summit and the rugged slopes of the Sublett Range. Numerous water sources are mapped throughout the area, including Sagehen Springs and Kurtz Spring, indicating the vital role of these points in a region otherwise defined by its arid, high-desert character. A network of rural roads, such as Kress-Hansen Rd and Sager Canyon Rd, provides access to these remote reaches, connecting isolated peaks like Quaking Asp Mtn to the small settlement of Roy.
