Tuluksak River winds through the southeastern corner of this Alaskan interior landscape, flowing past the complex topography of the Russian Mission A-3 NW quadrangle. The terrain is defined by significant elevation changes, with ridges rising between the drainage of the river and Bogus Cr, which cuts across the central and northern sections of the sheet. Surveyed for the U.S. Geological Survey using 2010 SPOT imagery, the map documents the unpopulated wilderness near the Bethel Census Area. The absence of roads or permanent structures reflects the region's character as a roadless natural corridor where watercourses serve as the primary markers for navigation and land management, following the established Public Land Survey System boundaries.
