San Antonio Mtn dominates the high-altitude landscape of northern New Mexico within the Carson National Forest and the Río Grande del Norte National Monument. This volcanic terrain is defined by a series of named volcanic cones and peaks, including Los Cerritos De La Cruz and Lamy Peak. The drainage patterns are equally distinct, with the Rio San Antonio winding through Stewart Meadows in the north, while the southern reaches are carved by deep arroyos such as the Arroyo Aguaje de la Petaca.
